22 Unmarried Couples Netted in Kelapa Gading

A joint personnel of Satpol PP Social Sub-Department, Kelapa Gading Police, Urban Village Supervisory Non-Commisioned (Babinsa), and Sub-District Military Command (Koramil) have secured 22 unmarried couples in Kelapa Gading Timur area, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, Saturday (6/6). These couples are secured from hotels or dorms.

This is a mandate to enforce the public order and to welcome Ramadan

During the raid, the personnel also secured 3 sex workers and 53 people who allegedly did immoral. 

"Those couples reasoned that they are sisters, nephew, aunt, etc. But they can't give prove it," told Chief of Kelapa Gading Sub-District's Satpol PP, Voctor Siahaan, Saturday (6/6).

15 Sex Workers Netted in a Raid

Head of Kelapa Gading Sub-District, Musa Syafrudin mentioned the 22 secured couples and 53 other people then brought to North Jakarta Mayor Office to be guided and 3 sex workers to Bina Insan Cipayung Social Institution, East Jakarta.

"This is a mandate to enforce the public order and to welcome Ramadan," told expressed.

He added, although it is not easy, yet his side will continue to combat the social ills routinely in future.
